The event was organized within the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cci4eu.eu\/\"><strong><em>CCI4EU (Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructures for Europe)<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>project. The main goal of the project is to support EU Member States and associated countries in improving or developing their existing or future comprehensive cancer infrastructures by fostering their research and innovation capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference gathered around 100 participants from leading oncology institutions across Europe. The RE Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as an affiliated partner and implementing institution of the <em>Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructure In Europe<\/em> project (Project No. 101103746 \u2014 CCI4EU \u2014 HORIZON-MISS-2022-CANCER-01, funded under the Horizon Europe Grant Agreement No. 101103746, dated April 24, 2023), was represented at the event by young scientists:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ph.D. Tetiana Borikun, Senior Researcher at the Department of Tumor Process Monitoring and Therapy Design;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ph.D. Taras Zadvornyi, Senior Researcher at the Department of Cytomorphology and Molecular-Biological Markers of Tumor Growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference focused on current global trends in modern oncology, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the unification and improvement of databases, including cancer registries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the creation of a modern European biobanking network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Particular attention was given to the development of early-stage career opportunities for young scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During thematic group sessions, researchers from different European countries presented their research findings. On behalf of the research team from the R.E.
