On June 19\u201320, 2025, the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine hosted open days for students. During these two days, junior students from the Educational and Scientific Center \u201cInstitute of Biology and Medicine\u201d of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv visited the Institute. They had the opportunity to tour the laboratories, learn about the main research directions, and communicate directly with the researchers. Such events help students gain a deeper understanding of scientific work and become familiar with modern experimental approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the program, the students visited the Department of Tumor Process Monitoring and Therapy Design, the Department of Cytomorphology and Molecular-Biological Markers of Tumor Growth, the Laboratory of Molecular Mechanisms of Cell Transformation, the Shared Research Equipment Center \u201cMolecular Oncology and Biotechnology,\u201d as well as the Human and Animal Cell Line Bank and the Institute’s vivarium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Kyrylo Saulenko, Leading Engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be glad to welcome everyone interested in oncology research at our future events. Additionally, the Institute gladly invites students \u2013 biochemists, biophysicists, molecular biologists, geneticists, physiologists, microbiologists, virologists, and radiobiologists \u2013 to join our research teams for internships, as well as for conducting bachelor’s and master’s theses within the scientific departments and laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
