On February 26, 2025, the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of the NAS of Ukraine kindly opened its doors to the students of Oster Lyceum № 2 of the Oster City Council (Oster, Chernihiv region).

During the excursion, the schoolchildren got acquainted with the history of the Institute and the main areas of work of the main structural divisions. In addition, the students had the opportunity to see modern scientific equipment and learn about methods of studying tumor processes, as well as talk with experienced scientists of the Institute.

The most interesting for the schoolchildren were the vivarium and the bank of cell lines from human and animal tissues, where they were able to clearly see the objects of the scientists’ research.

The R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of the NAS of Ukraine is always happy to welcome young people who strive for knowledge and hopes that such events will inspire schoolchildren to choose a future scientific career.
